Shams London Academy has bagged Asia's Best Chain School Award

Haroon Shams Khan, founding director of the Shams London Academy schools 

The idea of Shams London Academy was conceived by Mr. Khan, the Chairman of Shams Group International in 2004 after returning from London. 

Philosophy behind the idea was to contribute towards the development of Afghanistan and to facilitate children of the country with modern education and to train/groom them for taking a leading role as Nation Builders of tomorrow. Moreover, the setup has provided direct employment to almost three hundred Afghans till date and the number will automatically increase with increase in the number of academies.

Furthermore, indirect employment in the form of contractors and suppliers is an added feature thus keeping the youth and general public away from negative tendencies and providing a positive path?that is the requirement of today?s Afghanistan.
