About Dr. Ramesh Babu Manivannan:
I am Lion Dr. Ramesh Babu Manivannan, Indian Citizen born in Madurai, A city of Temples, from Southern Part of India. I was brought up in Chennai, the capital city of state of Tamil Nadu in South India.
First of all, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Asia Award, powered by RULA AWARDS, and the World Research Congress for honoring me and Lincoln University College with these prestigious awards. We are very honored and humbled by this recognition and acknowledgement for being awarded with the "Lifetime Achievement Award"-under the category of Asia’s Achievers Award and the "Asia’s Visionary Leadership Award"- under the category of Asia’s Education Award.
I have done my schooling in Chennai, graduated with Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Health Sciences, Master of Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Physiotherapy, and Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Linguistics. I am also holding the awards of PG Diploma in Critical Care Management, Diploma in Pharmacy, Senior Certificate in First-Aid, Certification in Acupuncture, Manipulation Therapy, Pranic Healing, Unani System of Medicine, and Computer Management. And currently I am pursuing my Masters in Business Administration (MBA).
I am the member of Indian Association of Physiotherapists, Indian Association of Chartered Physiotherapists, Malaysian Thoracic Society, European Respiratory Society, Malaysian Society of Osteoporosis, Ex-Associate Member of Malaysian Physiotherapy Association, Singapore Physiotherapy Association and Malaysian Society of Occupational Safety and health. Currently I am a Honorary Member of Sri Lankan Society of Physiotherapy (SLSP).
I was attached with Rotary Club of Central Damansara, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for 2 years where I have served as Club Secretary for one term.
I was working as Chief Physiotherapist and Head of Clinical for dbc Rehabilitation Network, Malaysia for whole Malaysian Operations. I have served as a Tutor, Lecturer, Assistant Professor and Clinical Physiotherapist in Aalim Muhammed Salegh College of Paramedical Sciences, Chennai, India.
I have served as former Head of Department, Physiotherapy in Lincoln University College, Malaysia.
I am currently working as Deputy Dean for the Faculty of Nursing Allied Health Sciences and Head of International Health Science Programs with Lincoln University College Malaysia.
In Sri Lanka, since 2020, I am serving as Director for Asia Pacific Higher Learning (Pvt) Ltd (APHL Campus) where focusing on educational activities with the objective "Empower The Nation Through Education".
I am also serving as "International Coordinator for SDG Executive Committee" for Lincoln University College, Malaysia on UNO's Sustainable Development Goals.
My main focus is on assessing and monitoring the Quality of Education for various programs conducted in Sri Lanka by Lincoln University College, Malaysia.
I am attached with Lions Club of Boralesgamuwa, District 306A2 with the ambition of serving the community to eliminate poverty, enhance health status and good quality of education in Sri Lanka.
I enjoy my martial arts, music, reading books and research work on health science and other disciplines.
Basically, I am a Workcoholic, enjoy much on my work. My quote during this covid 19 situation is "This Covid situation is not for rest. WE REST, WE BECOME RUST".
