AWARDS and CONTRIBUTION
I am a science teacher from a rural Tamil school (SJKT Kangkar Pulai, Johor, Malaysia ) here has been using my spare time to come up with my own inventions and innovations, which has managed to earn numerous international recognitions. I had clinched more than 120 awards including 75 international awards in the past 13 years and the latest win as Malaysia’s sole winner in this year’s International Woman Achiever.
I qualified as a teacher from Temenggong Ibrahim Teachers Training College in 1994 - 1996 and went on to obtain my Bachelor’s Degree in Science education in 2009 and my Master in Education in 2013. Currently pursuing my PhD in Education Technology from Open University Malaysia. As Science enthusiasts, I enjoy teaching science and have been serving as one since 1997. I am a Science Excellent Teacher.
I am indeed an excellent teacher as she has been rewarded as Excellent Teacher in 2004, 2008, 2014 and 2020. I regularly participate in international science innovation programmers and have won several awards both at National and International levels. Notably I won 75 international and 42 national awards and many states level awards. In 2016 I was honoured with the Ramanujan Award by ASTI, Malaysia. I also trained and guided my students to participate in International and National innovation competitions.
Under my able guidance my students have won gold medals both at International and National level. It gives me great pride to see my students under tutelage being given the opportunity to showcase their talent and winning competitions. Besides science awards, as a teacher I am also honoured as Innovative Teacher by the Malaysian Education Ministry. In 2017 I was given the Icon Teacher awards by the formal MIC National President. I also got another prestigious award for Students Development in Science Education by GOPIO (Global Organization People of Indian Origin).
In 2018 I was given the Icon Teacher awards by META (Meta Youth Association Johor) and a Winner Award by Persatuan kebudayaan dan Social India Johor. I simply enjoy science and am even more joyful when I help in identifying the inherent talents of the young children. I am still guiding my primary students who are pursuing their studies in university and polytechnic. I had been serving as a science teacher since 1997. My victory bloomed from the year 2008 with the national science fair for young children. In 2019, I was also honoured with the 2019 Perdana award for Special Achievement Award for Innovation and Invention Excellence by Malaysian Entrepreneurs Cooperative.
In 2021, I will receive a praiseworthy award title, Received “Asia’s Women Super Achievers Award” by Asia awards powered by RULA Awards under the category “Asia's Education Awards”.
I intend to fulfil MY PhD and create more students’ achievers and follows:

And hopefully one day one of my students will be the first Indian Malaysian who will receive the Nobel prize winner…
