Santaner “Santy” Tedranes Iray works as the Chief Trainer of Drug Check Philippines for 18 years handling the Training and Development Programs of the company. He mastered the advocacy on Drug-Free Workplace by offering a Comprehensive Drug Abuse Prevention Program to its clients; both in the public and private sectors.
He strengthened his platform by partnering with Philippine Council of NGOs Against Drug and Substance Abuse (PHILCADSA) where he served as a Spokesperson for Plans and Programs for more than a decade. Advancing its flagship program Family Life Skills or Pagsasanay ng Pamilyang Pilipino (PPP) he specifically handles the Life Skills Training for the Youth and was part of the team that initiated for the Revision of Life Skills Manual in Jakarta, Indonesia and Penang Malaysia in 2012.
The concept of Workplace-based Prevention Intervention solidifies the foundation of his Drug-Free Workplace advocacy as he was a member of the pioneer team of the National Trainers for the Republic of the Philippines of the Universal Prevention Curriculum (UPC) by Colombo Plan funded by the International Narcotics and Laws, US Department of State.
His passion for drug prevention has made him a public figure and was an in demand speaker with his animated style in schools, colleges and universities that paved the way to his guesting to several news and current affairs shows on free & cable TV, radio, podcast and has also become a product endorser of an ointment brand and was given the Highest Satisfaction Rating as a Subject Matter Expert of the Office of the Solicitor General in 2021.
Sealing his accomplishment was being recognized as Outstanding Alumnus of Aklan State University and Congressman Allen S. Quimpo Memorial Awardee in 2018 and Natatanging Gawad Felimon Awardee in 2023.
He was also internationally and globally recognized as he became a pioneer member of the poll of Global Master Trainers for International Society of Substance Use Prevention & Treatment Professionals (ISSUP) of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime at Vienna Austria and an Alumnus of the International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP) in the United States of America the most prestigious exchange programs in the world.
Now, an Executive Director & PRO of Community Chest Foundation, Inc and a certified Neuro Linguistic Programming and Life Coaching Practitioner through Auspicum, United Kingdom.
He has been all over the country being invited to talk as well on his mental health and HIV awareness advocacies.
This 2023 he is Asia’s Most Distinguished Trainer Awardee under Asia’s Learning by Asia Awards the Asia’s #1 Brand and Leadership Excellence Awards powered by World Research Congress in partnership with United Research Council and media partner Times London.
