Arogya Life Systems Lanka Private Limited is delighted to be the Winner of the coveted title “Asia’s Best Innovative Healthcare Company Award”. ‘Asia Awards’ which is presented by ‘RULA Awards’ is indeed a prestigious accolade to have in the Asian Region. Being a Sri Lankan company, it is the First time that we have won such recognition after being in business for almost Four years.
In 2017, the company started with a team of Four individuals and commenced building a prototype of a solution that would address pain points of a hospital. Hemas Hospital was the company that saw the potential in the team and requested Arogya to develop the solution according to their needs. By 2018, Arogya was able to deploy the solution in its very First account; Hemas Hospitals in Thalawathugoda and Wattala. By winning the trust in the market, more hospitals wanted to get Arogya on board hence the team had to be increased. By 2019, the team expanded to more than Ten. Ernst & Young valued Arogya Life Systems at USD 3.3 Million in 2020. By now, the name Arogya has grown in leaps and bounds.
Apart from the above mentioned hospitals, Arogya solution is presently available at Eleven locations of Medihelp Hospitals in Piliyandala, Moratuwa, Horana, Bandaragama, Homagama, Kalutara, Aluthgama, Beruwala, Mathugama, Piliyandala as well as in Singhe Hospital – Ratnapura, Arya Hospital – Ratnapura, Western Hospital – Rajagiriya, Blue Cross Hospital – Rajagiriya, Sethma Hospital – Gampaha, Moolai Hospital – Moolai, Venus Hospital – Jaffna, Mount Lotus Hospital – Mount Lavinia.
The purpose of Arogya is to convert hospitals from Digital to Smart. Various modules of Arogya are capable and equipped with necessary technical background to support the endeavor. ‘Heartbeat’ Progressive Web App for customers to interact with hospital, ‘Stethoscope’ App for Doctors to interact with patients, ‘Lightning’ Smart Hospital Platform with Channeling, Out Patient Department (OPD), Pharmacy, Laboratory Procedures, Stock Management, Billing and Finance modules as well as the ‘Radar’ Business Intelligence and Monitoring Tool, ‘Magma’ API Layer are the solutions provided by Arogya Life Systems.
The company is incorporated in the United States of America as Arogya Life Systems. The Co-Founders are Jayakrishnan Rajagopalasarma the Chief Executive Officer and Ramoshan Canagasabay. Both of them are Directors of the organization. Apart from them; Kumar Buvanendaran, Bernard Sinniah and Mohan Maheswaran are also Directors. The Management Team includes Dr. Dilhan S. Jayatilleke (Head – Business Development & Marketing), Oshardhie Gunarathne (Head of Operations), Sathyavarathan Sivabalasingam (Head of Engineering) and Sheron De Silva (Head of Implementations & Customer Care).
