Roche Diagnostics has launched cobas’s purely integrated solution analyzer with advanced systems that can significantly improve the testing efficiency of laboratories and hospitals operating in India. This allows patients to make better use of their space, expand their testing capabilities, and provide patients with high-quality testing.

Launched by the company, this new analyzer helps labs simplify their day-to-day operations by combining clinical chemistry, immunoassays, and ion concentration measurement (ISE) diagnostics. The analyzer, according to the company, has the longest on-board stability of reagents, helping the lab expand its test menu.
The company used advanced technology to develop an integrated system focused on automating manual tasks. Practical maintenance time for technicians has been reduced to 5 minutes per day, an 80% reduction compared to previous generation systems. This enables rapid delivery of test results and clinical decision making, increasing lab productivity.

The 2-square-meter analyzer can perform up to 870 tests per hour while providing access to a complete clinical and immunochemical assay menu devised by Roche for medium-sized laboratories. It includes over 230 diagnostic tests covering a wide range of disease areas including critical care, infectious diseases including COVID-19, women’s health, oncology, cardiology, endocrinology and TDM (Therapeutic Drug Monitoring). It will be.

Narendra Varde, Managing Director of Roche Diagnostic India and Neighboring Markets, describes the role that the analyzers developed by the company can play in improving the efficiency of the lab. This integration of test menus allows laboratories to quickly perform hundreds of different tests using a single test tube of a patient’s blood sample. Through cobas pure, the integrated test menu can cross the metro to reach a number of cities where the test menu may currently be restricted. “

The company also said that fully standardized results and operational compatibility will be provided to the lab using an analyzer (Cobas pro integrated solution) designed for larger labs. This solution analyzer is designed to optimize information processing from order to result management, while intelligently automating the entire sample flow from receipt to storage, providing meaningful insights for informed decision making. Fully compatible with the cobasinfinity laboratory solution, which is a software solution.

The sample volume required for each test has been reduced by 43% compared to the previous generation cobas system. The company also reduced the size of reagent packs and increased the number of tests per pack, reducing the amount of plastic produced per test result by up to 78%, and the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) is the most sustainable in the pharmaceutical industry. Recognized by possible companies.
