I Am Sivapragasam Disanth was born among the picturesque hills in Pudhumala, Narangala area in Badulla district of Uva Province, Sri Lanka. was born into a family living in a poverty stricken background.

From a young age the leadership trait was developed by my father and I enriched myself as much as possible by making the best use of the opportunities available during the school days following it.  Whenever I got chances I was able to give a voice to the injustices that take place in many places through social service.

After that I understood the nature and service of the teaching profession as a result of getting the opportunity to go to teacher’s Training college.  I have accepted the duty as a teacher of the Government of Sri Lanka since 2018.

I took charge as a teacher and since then I have been able to understand that those in the Sri Lankan primary education sector face many problems in the field. So, I made some efforts to figure out how to solve it and got many advantages and disadvantages by having conversations with many people.I decided to try my best online.  This is an initiative of the Sri Lanka Tamil Medium Primary Education Teachers Online Groups.

All Island Primary Teachers Online Group is a group of organizations that have been providing assistance to primary education as much as possible and have gradually taken it to the path of development and today it is an organization that provides many services related to primary education in Sri Lanka. This is completely volunteer.

All services are free.  And can receive assistance at any time.  Today our organization has more than four thousand primary education teachers in Sri Lanka. As well as twenty-one executive members.  A teacher who knows what is the purpose of primary education in the development of an education that serves everyone will not take the field of primary education as a joke.

In that sense we do our service based on how important the foundation for a building is to that level of elementary education. There is no doubt that today we have received a good reception in Sri Lanka and have made a huge change in the field of primary education. Our service will continue.

As such, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Asia Award presented by Rula Awards for honoring me with the ‘Young Achiever’ award at the Asian Awards. Likewise I find immense joy in receiving the award and it is difficult to express that joy in words. My family and school community are proud to be our organization to further enrich my service by receiving this award. I also request that the service of the Asia award, which selects genuine servicemen and presents such awards, be continued.
